While wandering around the Luxembourg gardens I happened upon this girl, who had a beautiful backdrop of flowers and the palace all to herself, and she was in the middle of a very determined selfie taking session. Could I pass by this scene? Nope. I took a photo of her but as chance would have it – the result wasn’t what I wanted, so I decided to go for another shot. Lets be honest, there is no much hiding you can do in a pretty much open space (and no amount of “invisibility tricks” used by street photographers will do), so she obviously noticed me, the posing mask fell and I was rewarded with this expression. Id say it was worth it being busted by her. Mind you, the selfie-taking continued even more vigorously after I left her immediate vicinity…
Paris sessions: girl interrupted

At least she paid attention to another human being for a moment!
Nice catch.

That is true, yet its funny – she obviously wants attention (hence the selfie taking), yet she’s unhappy when she gets it in real life. Oh well, Im too old to understand that, I guess 😀

Me too. But then maybe it’s okay to take a picture of yourself but not okay for someone else to take it. Who knows.
