Kuldiga: a moment before the feast

It has been a month (almost to the day) since Ive posted anything. I was hoping that by this time the renovations of my virtual home would be done, but… life happened and the virtual scaffolding is still up and the virtual cans of paint and brushes and whatnot are still scattered around. Anyway, the place is still pretty much a mess (and, by the look of it, will remain so for a while since Im doing it “all by me onsies” to quote a certain swashbuckling captain), which is why I am asking you to be patient with me. However, tonight I thought – to hell with the grand unveiling that will happen who knows when. Im doing a post and Im taking you for a walk in the charming town of Kuldiga, Latvia, before its annual city festival. I hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for taking me along. You know your friends don’t mind a little scaffolding and a few paint cans.

Thank you for taking a break from your labour and showing us these photos. Several of the scenes would lend themselves to being painted with oils. You have the eyes of an artist, for sure.
