Some people say rain makes Venezia unbearable. I happen to think it makes it even more beautiful. Venezia is a city inseparably connected with water, so why would it make it unbearable? Rain, fog, acqua alta, snow, mist, even rainbows are all forms of water and each one creates its own unique atmosphere in the city that already is like no other. Some people say rain makes Venezia unbearable. I just take my umbrella and go for a walk on the water mirrors covering the pavements…

Ah, but some tourists with their umbrellas make walking through the narrow calles nearly impossible. They haven’t learned the polite dance that the locals know so well.
