Was this somewhere near where you live or on one of your travels? Honestly, I haven’t seen trees like that or peafowl in Venezia….so know it’s not there.
Your quote put a music video (classical) that I have seen into my head immediately. When I see it again I’ll try to find the composer and name of the piece…it’s probably on YouTube so will send you the link. We have a TV station here that plays videos of classic music, dance, film etc (without commercial interruption!). I see it every now and then.
Absolutely lovely photos as usual. You can always put me in another world.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment, Michelle! This feathered beauty lives at the local zoo here in Riga. I happened to go there today and found this one wandering around the zoo without any care in the world – checking on other animals and whatnot with humans being just a part of the scenery for him. So when he climbed a tiny hill I thought Id follow him and see if I can get some photos without spooking the bird. Im really glad it worked and you like the result. 🙂

I do love it and I’m going to find the video for you….it’s animated and the music makes the shapes turn into other shapes….you’d love it.
And as the song says (from my youth) “it’s all happening at the zoo”. ..and you reminded me I haven’t been there in a while, time to go back with my camera.

Now Im really curious about that video!!! I really like the flamingos at our zoo – I can watch them argue and pose all day. 😀 And please post a story about your trip to the zoo when you go.

I will post, I’ll probably wait till June when I have a friend visiting. She and I always enjoy spending time at the zoo. Wish I remembered who the composer of the music was as I could search that way. Next time I see it I will remember to write it down. Don’t hold your breath because I usually see it every few months. Wish you could hear what was playing in my head as I’m unable to even hum it.
