This picture was taken four years ago and I haven’t been to this place since then, but am going back in a couple of weeks. Ive become a different kind of photographer since that spring day and now Im curious to see how said fact will reflect in my shots this time around. You may wonder what Jay Maisel has to do with it? Everything. For it was spring of two years ago when his class put my photographic eye in the sharpest focus possible. And before my return Im reading Maisel.
