I do sometimes photograph those too, and tell my spouse how beautiful world looks through reflections in puddles…and sometimes he just looks at me like I am kind of nutcase…well…I am ๐
oh my god… the looks I get sometimes while I try to figure out how to get the best out of some puddle… ๐ its priceless, I swear ๐ but hey, the weirder the look people give nutcases like us the better the chance that the photo will be good ๐
Very big sigh! The second picture is one of my favorite houses and I would walk by it often on the way to the Giardini and my friend’s house at St. Elena. Do you think they would let me live in that house? Probably if I gave someone enough money. But it would be too noisy during the holiday season because just before Christmas it’s where they set up Luna Park with all the “kiddie” rides.
It is a beautiful house, I absolutely agree! And they must have incredible views from it. Who knows, maybe it could be possible to rent a room or an apartment there (fingers crossed). As for me I have my dream house in Dorsoduro (a red little gem by a canal). It happens to be for sale right now. Pitty I can only dream of having that much money to buy it.
Another big sigh!
People always ask me if I plan to buy a house in Venice and I respond that if Johnny Depp didn’t keep the one he bought I could hardly afford to buy one. But we can always dream.
Can you imagine the upkeep on a house in Venice?!
And he didnt even get a big one for the money he spent… ๐ Im kidding, of course, but
considering how particular life in Venice is in general Id say the upkeep of a house there would not be a daydream, thats for sure, yet living there would be a bliss no matter what.
I love your way of seeing the world! Reflections is something I really really love, and not all people do not ever stop and see those !

Thank you so much! ๐ Im kind of fascinated by water mirrors (and all other reflective surfaces at that) but for most those are just puddles ๐

I’ll just rent a place and hopefully (!) the landlord will take care of the upkeep.
